Unit description: Medium-size unit, with roughly equal amounts of sheep-size and larger taxa. Almost all burnt, most of it carbonized or nearly. Also many chunks of black burnt soil bagged with bone. Wide variety of elements represented, including much cranial. Perhaps an originally complete dog skull, and wild goat horn core; both burnt. Much fragmentation resulting from burning; original pieces seem to have been rather large. Sample 1 >4 mm flotation 100% sorted, only diagnostics recorded, rest as flot frags. It has a range of large and small pieces. Some burning, but less than in dry sieved material. Last number = 171Figurine Records: Yes
