Dimensions: E-W=1.50m, N-S=1.00m, depth=0.25m 

 

Discussion: upper fill in multiple neolithic burial. 

 

Recognition: around human bone which turned out to be a multiple neolithic burial. Since this was cut from the building above it was very difficult to identify the different cuts and therefore this unit was assigned as the uppermost fill of a number of recuts 

Definition: very difficult to define 

Execution: small tools 

Condition: hot 

Consistency: friable 

Colour: mid orangish grey 

Texture: slightly sandy silt 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: occasional animal bone 

Post-depositional Features: heavily eroded by proximity to surface 

Basal Boundary: diffuse, room fill redeposited into a cut containing room fill
