Discussion: Poorly preserved Byzantine skeleton (adult male). Initiall excavated (SR, 2/8/06) only halfway, because harder layer within burial fill was interpreted as bottom of grave, when really the grave extended a ways below this, and most o f the remaining, in situ bones were to be found in this bottommost portion of the grave.

Body: Extended E-W (head to W); lower body (pelvis, legs) mostly articulated
Head: skull present, oriented to W
Right Arm: probably extended in front of/alongside body (to S), although little remains in situ
Left Arm: bones within pelvic cavit, so left arm probably placed across torso
Right Leg: extended strait, towards East; foot not in situ
Left Leg: extended strait, towards East; foot not in situ
