Unit 13556
Category: Layer dug in 2007
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: infill of the pit
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 0.35 x 0.40 x 0.12 m
Discussion: This is an infill of the pit against northern edge of the trench and truncated in West part by later cut 13084. Its fill consists of light brown loose silty sand with tiny orange clay lenses, charcoals and white fragments of limestones (?). It was recognized after lifting the upper part of the layer [13528] which covered completely the pit. Its northern part was not explored as it stretched outside the excavation area. The remaining part of the infill and cut [13555] are visible in section. It seems as if the pit was somehow associated with the activities taking place in the midden area [13528]. The pit might be contemporary with situated south-west posthole [infill 13550, cut 13549].
