Description: NOT EXCAVATED in 2006; Only cleaned and defined in 2006 - appears to be the cut of a potentially large rectangular Byzantine grave. Not excavated august 2006 

Discussion: Cut of grave fill 13718. Rectangular grave cut aligned roughly east-west. Full dimensions not sure as it has not been fully exposed and runs under northern baulk. Undoubtedly a late Byzantine grave at least 0.98m wide may be a double grave not fully defined. Seems to be quite large grave cut but not fully defined or cleaned. So may be double grave or dimensions may change with further definition. 

Recognition: Distinct from surrounding area - loose soil, cracking and animal disturbance indicates edges
