Discussion: Loose topsoil removed by mattock and leaf trowel. Surface is soft,there are many roots.
Peter decided to take the first depth of erosion topsoil with this arbitrary unit as well, untill we reached first structure. Only after a thourough brush and a long period of drying out we realised that we cut into a possibly EC mudbrick wall in the N as well as in the S end. For the situation see plans nos. 06/917, 06/918, 06/904 and respective sections.
