Description: Fill layer between stone construction levels 13830 and 13858

Discussion: Layer of soil between the stone capping (13830) and wall stones (13858) of cist grave F2456. Several child bones were found in this layer - perhaps from the burial lower down. The soil was mixed with a lot of ash, but only within the very strict ara under the capping stones (13830) and bounded by the wall stones.
The floor of the grave and basal boundary of his fill both seem to have been an ashy and white-lecked think layer. Perhaps originally a thin layer of plaster with some burnt material on top?
