Unit 14145
Category: Layer dug in 2006
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: burnt - demolition
Data Category Information: Location: building
Discussion: dark burnt material/ash against walls of NW corner of Building 66, at first thought might be filling a feature in this corner possibly - but on excavation appears to be a dump or collapse - & lying over mudbrick rubbly material, wall collapse/demolition? - can see that towards the corner there is some wall plaster where the layers have been charred black (although the surface layer is grey) indicating in-situ burning?
