Dimensions: NS = 0.44m EW = 0.65m Thick = 0.12m 

Discussion: Mud brick core under 2 plaster layesr. Is thick at bottom and tapers up almost into a point. Uncovered a reddish brown layer underneath, which is same layer as the rest of floor. Layer in the middle of the bin is at a lower level than the floor, suggesting it has been scooped out and built up on the sides. 

Recognition: different color/texture than layer above

Condition: hot/breezy 

Consistency: firm 

Colour: light greyish brown with orange mottling 

Texture: clay silt 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: occasional charcoal flecks
