Discussion: Partial grey floor located only in the southern half of room 311 and 316 truncated completely to the north of the surviving early surface on platforms F.2377 + 2378 are probably of contemporary date. The make up covers all of spaces 313 & 316 and most of space 311with the exception of the cores for platforms along the eastern wall whos material appeared slightly different. Original Total Deposit Volume entered as 0 altered by system check 30/08/09
This floor an make up should have been split in post excavation but it caused to many problems with finds, very thin patchy surface, mainly scoured away. (MWH 30/06/2010)

Definition: Defined by walls. Patchy floor on crushed mud brick

Consistency: Loose. Frieable core. Firm floor where it survives
Colour: Mid greyish brown floor/Mid brown brick crush
Texture: Sandy silt/Some heavy clay lumps throughout
Bedding: Layered (floor+make-up)
Inclusions: Moderate animal bone, occasional stone, clay ball fragments x 5, stone and obsidian + 1 human skull fragment, 1 stone bead
Post-depositional Features: animal burrows. All post retrieval pits
Basal Boundary: clear in most areasonto compact room fill
