Unit 15142
Category: Skeleton dug in 2010
Area: Trench 5
Data Category Information: none
Dimensions: 0,45m x 1,39m x 0,09m
Discussion: This late burial was partially articulated, yet highly disturbed. The rib cage was first hit when clearing top soil, as this grave was very close to the surface. Many articulated elements were suggestive of a "tummy down" position, for burial, where the posterior surfaces were towards the surface. The skull is mostly missing, with most of the mandible and small fragments of the temporal. Many other fragmented human remains appeared to have eroded or otherwise disturbed from their origin cut to other areas outside the cut (15138). These may belong to this individual, it is difficult to say.
