Unit 15199
Category: Cluster dug in 2010
Area: Trench 5
Interpretive Categories: bone cluster
Data Category Information: none
Dimensions: N-S 1,5m ; E-W 0,87m ; 0,172m depth
Discussion: This human bone cluster was created due to the extreme disturbance and scatter of the individual`s bones in the pit F 3331. At one time this individual was most likely in a proper late chistian style burial, but it is now highly fragmented and scattered in the northern and eastern sections of F. 3331 pi in layers 15195 and some in 15179 above. The remains are consistent with MNI 1 , and the skull from bone cluster 15192 most likely is from the same indiviadual. No bones were in anatomical position or articulated. The individual appears to be a middle aged male, based on the pelvis.
