Discussion: This burial was within 10cm of the top soil, as well as having multiple disturbances. The cut could not be seen in section or in plan. The burial was on the southern section of the previous excavation years, so if there was a northern cut present it was removed in the first year of excavation in 2006.


JHB 29/07/13:
Unit 15347 is the cut for skeleton 15346 and grave fill 15348. The true cut was visible only in the upper part of the northern and NW area. The S+SW true cut was not visible and was defined arbitrarily by the furthest extent of grave fill and bones. The skeleton was highly disturbed and disarticulated/scattered.
