Discussion: The burial fill was clear at the top where the mudbrick lining of the grave was. As excavation progressed down, it was clear that the burial was disturbed due to finding human bone throughout the fill. There was evidence of animal burrows running through the burial vertically and horizontally. The SE section was the most disturbed, and human bones from the grave were located in this region and just outside, where the mudbrick lining should have been. Multiple fragments of iron nails were located, indicating a coffin was present. A worked bone piece was found, although it is not clear if this Chalcolithic oir Byzantine. ARS took some soil samples for Chemistry testing from the top of the burial.
