Unit 15390
Category: Skeleton dug in 2011
Area: Trench 5
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: This skeleton was discovered below previously excavated SK 15346. The skeleton could could not be fully excavated due to its extension (head and thorax) into the western trench section. It will be fully excavated next summer when the tent structure will not be compromised. The lower half that was removed was in extended supine E-W orientation. The loeft arm was not preserved beside the radius, which was on the right side of the body - obviously had been disturbed. This could be related possibly to the disturbance that moved the upper body of Sk15346, although the bones were not located yet, in the case of 15390. The bones were fragile and prone to fragmentation when removed, this could be from the bone condition or preservation of the individual. The legs were extended and straight.
