Unit 15914
Category: Layer dug in 2007
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: midden
Data Category Information: Deposition: finely bedded
Description: Beam Slot between FT 10 and FT 11
Discussion: Followed midden therough either side in excavated FT's 11 & 10, however upon excavation found two wall courses to south, high up in section, appears to be on E-W alignment though not in W facing section, possibly eroded away.
To the north there is a cut, probably a late burial. Reached formation horizon without reaching skeleton, therefore not further investigated.
Therefore material assemblage is mixed.
Stopped at formation horizon, a continuation of the same midden. Same as midden (15400) to north in FT 10 and to the south (****) in FT 11.
Recognition: seen in section, excavated in FT's either side
