Discussion: Single deposition of ash within midden dump area. There are many similar lenses but this was easily isolated. Not burnt in situ, but definitely re-deposited

Colour: 7.5 YR 7/1-6/1 (light grey - grey) Slightly more olive than Munsell allows 

Texture: silty ash 

Bedding: Massive 

Inclusions: >4mm 20% charcoal, 5% >3mm clay frags. 

Post-depositional Features: 5% root action 

Basal Boundary: Accumulated rubbish deposit, sharp but irregular interface with underlying deposit, incline E-W
