Discussion: Cut for possible retaining wall. The top of the wall has not been exposed as under B64. The retaining wall appears to have been to the wall under F2222.
External surfaces 16714/16795 must have been contemporary with the pre building 64 use of the area. Below the possible retaining wall, the walls of B64 sequence are not visible suggesting that there was a change of alignment with the Pre B64 walls located slightly to the south, B64 was then built ontop of the retaining wall as the sequence definatly continues down as shown by the sections of the midden pits.
