Discussion: collapsed super structure inside oven, against south wall. Seals directly and sealed directly by two floors 16597 and 17002 repectively. May represent the reason for reflooring event 16547. 

Recognition: colour and texture. Contains brick and plaster. 

Definition: very clear 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: dry 

Consistency: firm, very compact 

Colour: mid yellow brown, pale grey (plaster collapse), brown 

Texture: very sandy silt 

Bedding: compound. Mixed and mottled. 

Inclusions: frequent plaster fragments, occasional charcoal flecks 

Post-depositional Features: none noted 

Basal Boundary: slightly diffuse, rests on standing super-strucure
