Discussion: It is a mortar placed between the walls 13579 and 12230 in W part of the trench. At this stage of excavations it is difficult to explain its function, wheter it was made to fill the place between mentioned walls, wheter it was placed along already existing wall 13579 and afterwards next to it there was adjacent the wall 12230. 

 

Recognition: colour, consistency 

Definition: mortar of infill between the walls 13579 and 12230. 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: dry, hot 

Consistency: friable, compact 

Colour: light grey 

Texture: silty sand 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: bones 

Post-depositional Features: none 

Basal Boundary: distinct
