Discussion: Floor layers in buildings adjacent to south wall. At least 12 layers of floors. Must have been a long lived building. 

 

Recognition: laminated floor sequence, truncated by 18162 

Definition: clear 

Execution: mini-mattock as only small area of floor remains, taken out as one unit with microstratigraphy to record sequence 

Condition: cool 

Consistency: compact 

Colour: laminations of white plaster, grey surfaces and mid-greyish brown makeup layers 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: compound 

Inclusions: occasional plaster and occasional charcoal flecks 

Post-depositional Features: truncation to east by 81162 part of building built on slope so south floor layers have eroded 

Basal Boundary: truncation
