Discussion: Pit cut--scorching recorded at the base of the cut (18159), the sides also show signs of ceing fire hardened. The fill of the pit was packed full of material, including the gray ash (or burnt marl?), burnt bone, and fire hardened clay. Possibly some sort of production/industry? 

Shape: irregular--truncated 

Sides: the south facing side is slightly overhanging, east and west are vertical 

Base Break: sharp 

Base: sliping downward from south to NW to a concave base in the NW
