Discussion: Pit cut--scorching recorded at the base of the cut (18159), the sides also show signs of ceing fire hardened. The fill of the pit was packed full of material, including the gray ash (or burnt marl?), burnt bone, and fire hardened clay. Possibly some sort of production/industry?
