Discussion: Very burnt oven floors. Two phases of surfacing well cemented - reddened by the fire - light grey upper floors.

Execution: trowel and leaf trowel excavated 

Condition: hot 

Consistency: solid - well cemented (fired floors) 

Colour: light greyish brown at surface, mid redish brown below (fire reduced) 

Texture: clay silt 

Bedding: layered 

Inclusions: very organic content within the fabric mixed grasses etc 

Post-depositional Features: Mellart truncation (or post Mellart) 

Basal Boundary: Difuse - due to burning - hard to separate floors from bedding material
