Dimensions: 1.17m x 0.6m x 0.04m (max.) 

 

Discussion: This floor is burnt towards the south end of the platform (F.3400). It was thicker than the north end, and gets thinner and disapears towards south and west.

There is a subside subside at the north end right next to the burrial cut (18455). It is a possible burial fill and this floor (18486) is the last layer on top of it (covering the burial fill) 

 

Recognition: Clear 

Definition: By the NE platform and by the east wall 

Execution: Leaf trowel 

Condition: Hot 

Consistency: Very firm 

Colour: Light grey to dark brownish grey and orangish grey make-up (with dark brown in burnt places 

Texture: Silty clay 

Bedding: Layered 

Inclusions: Tiny pieces of charcoal, rare tiny stones, rare red paint pieces. 

Post-depositional Features: Animal burrows, insect holes, modern plant roots, deep cracks. 

Basal Boundary: Clear
