Discussion: Highly burnt layer of building material. Containing human skull (18520) at north extent of deposit. Sample of burnt plaster taken as it contained a high concentration of phytoliths, <03> + <04>. These samples appear to be highly burnt plaser in which the organic material is preserved - Is this in fact mortar? Scapula < x-2 at N. extent of building.

Skull may have been set on top of plaster capital on top of engaged pillar in the corner of excavation area. (BUT WHAT EVIDENCE?? SF)
