Unit 19079
Category: Layer dug in 2010
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: plaster surface
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: building; Material: plaster; Deposition: layered (wall plaster); Basal Spit: unpainted
Discussion: Layered/laminated plaster surface covering the exterior of F6050. Sealed below the red plaster layers (19037). The layers are up to 3 cm thick many of which are more likely successive plasterings in the same event. Most of the plastering events don’t make it to the surface of the platform, where they get thinner less than 1 cm.
None retained for flotation, too hard to be sieved.
2 cm in from surface was a red painted layer which was also present internally.
