Discussion: Red geometric design with faint traces of a darker, greyish colour.
Geometric design on the top half of the eastern wall. The painting consists of a repeated red and grey geometric pattern, where the red is best preserved. The grey pattern is highly fragmented and barely visible. The layers varies between 10 to 30 layers to the level of the hand prints (U. 19470). The elevation was drawn by the illustrator KJK (12/913). When the painting was removed, three red hand prints were revealed (U. 19470). Some plaster from U.19469 with colour from the handprints which got stuck on the backside of the plaster was taken as samples for research reasons. Sample 3 contains colour from the northern most hand and sample 4 contains colour from the southern most hand.
