Discussion: Disarticulated, disturbed skeleton from Neolithic. The post-cranial elements were in poor condition probably due in part to the fire which occurred in B. 77. This eastern portion of the platform was less burnt than the western portion of the platform such that these elements were "baked" less intensely than those from the western grave pit. The skull (19501) is probably the "same as" these post-cranial elements having been found directly above the distal femur in the south part of the pit. In addition, the patch of yellow residue (19534, 19553) was found directly under the Skull (19501). Some elements were articulated (e.g. the foot) but most bones were not. Numerous hand and feet bones were scattered in the pit. Not all bony elements were located, suggesting disturbance and bone retrieval. Seven shells were located together (X1 19534) under the left hip, probably once on a string or cord.
