Unit 19719
Category: Layer dug in 2012
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: Make-up layer
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: building; Deposition: homogeneous
Dimensions: 1.2 x 1.3 x 0.07 m
Discussion: We removed a make-up layer on the small platform in the NE corner of building 96. The floor layer underneath was very worn down & patchy, but there was a circular/ovoid patch where the floor was very white and visible. We suspect that this patch is a pit (possibly a burial) and would like to explore it before the end of this season.
