Unit 19896

Category: Cut    dug in 2013

Area: South

Interpretive Categories: burial cut

Data Category Information: Description: burial

Description: It is not possible to see the shape in plan, the corners, the top break of slope and the sides.

Discussion: It is very difficult to recognize this cut because it is not possible to see the shape in plan. This is very obvious excavating the burial ; it is not possible to recognize the several fills of the cut because the soil is the same in all the surface in plan.
So, we understood that the cut exist when we found the skeleton (u.19887). After the excavation we could see signs of the bottom and we recognized that the child was layed down on the bottom of this cut.
