Discussion: This unit was recognized as a succeeding make-up layer revealed in SW corner of building 80. This layer was found underlaying quite thick (1,5-2 cm) white plaster layer (U.20074) and distinguishable mainly by its different colour and more friable consistency of soil than the previously excavated white plaster layer.
It was observed moreover that the thickness of this unit was highly variable. It was especially thin towards the wooden threshold which connecting space 135 with 373.
Similarily to U.20064 it seems to be possible that the higher - thicker part of this layer had been used to raise the height of this part of the floor in order to straighten out different levels.
