Unit 20100
Category: Layer dug in 2012
Area: TPC
Interpretive Categories: infill
Data Category Information: Location: building
Dimensions: EW 5m x NS 5m x 0,19 m
Discussion: This is an infill that filled up buldings 4 and 5 excavated by Mellaart in the 1960's. Therefore, it was a redeposit mixed up layer containg different (including modern) material and some leftovers from the previous excavation). The infill was very easily removed. As it was a redeposited infill, no samples have been taken.
After removing this infill, a level untouched by Mellaart, i.e. the Neolithic deposits have been reached.
Note on Total deposit volume:
Unknown volume was unsieved.
Calculated from dimensions in 2013.
