Discussion: The left foot was on top on the right foot - when removed the right foot had the dorsal surface upwards- where the foot appears to have inverted when the body was placed in the grave. It was anatomically articulated. There was an orange- red deposit found underneath the rib cage and some in the right side of the abdomen. Phytoliths were also found upon removal of the scapulas and rib cage on the right side. The skull was exposed prior to this year's excavation, therefore it was highly eroded. This was possibly exposed in Mellaart's trench.

X and Y of Targets: Target A - X: 962.85; Target A - Y: 977.3; Target B - X: 962.59; Target B - Y: 976.78; Target C - X: 964.31; Target C - Y: 976.9; Target D - X: 0; Target D - Y: 0

Body: adult, extended on right side

Head: to the west

Right Arm: slightly flexed at elbow

Left Arm: slightly flexed at elbow, hand in extension with dorsal surface uppermost

Right Leg:

Left Leg: extended

Other comments: The skeleton is supine, on right side, facing south, fully extended. The left humerus was rolled medially and became disarticulated from the glenoid fossa of the left scapula. The corpus sterni has descended into the thoracic cage and the left side of the rib cape has also fallen into the thoracic space in articulation. The clavicles are diagonally oriented. The left ulna has become disarticulated from the left humerus and rolled such that the semi-lunar notch is superior. The left tibia has become displaced and is lying towards the mid-line of the body with the proximal end located medially at about mid- diaphysis of the left femur. The left scapula is affected by a wall effect, supported by the edge of the grave cut with the auxiliary border uppermost. The left femur is held in the left acetabullum by a 'wall effect'.

Surface Modifications: Gradual in-filling of skeleton. The left side of the cranium was heavily fragmented and largely destroyed with the right side embedded in the matrix of the base of the grave. An animal burrow just above displaced left tibia- towards south and mid-line of body. Root activity in loose soil matrix.
