Interpretive Categories: pit infill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 2,59 (N-S) x 1,63 (W-E) x 0,23 m
Discussion: The fill was a different colour and texture (looser silt/ brownish gray) was easily defined as compared with a surrounding layer. The fill in N part was shallow, but the S part was deeper, with mudbrick (probably Neolithic) appearing in places. The cut was well defined in some places but not in SW part. The fill also contained areas of more reddish soil and areas of burnt charcoal containing deposits. Many pottery pieces were found as well as obsidian, animal bones.
