Area: TPC

Interpretive Categories: Posthole infill

Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: posthole; Deposition: homogeneous

Dimensions: EW 0.32 x NS 0.26 x depth 0.22

Discussion: This is a posthole infill. The color is dark grey. I found pottery and a few bones. The bones are animal bone. This posthole is probably of a later period than the neolithic, as seen by its type and level. It appears to be truncated by feature 3935, a hellenistic pit. It is one of five postholes in trench 2 and may be associated with the ohers. The infill was relatively soft and the hole not too deep.
