Unit 20192
Category: Layer dug in 2012
Area: TPC
Interpretive Categories: Infill
Data Category Information: Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: NS 6m x EW 5m x depth 0.08m
Discussion: This is a layer of infill within trench 2. It was distinguished by its color, consistancy, and stratigraphic position. It was deposited following massive aligned cut that truncated the southern walls of three consecutive Neolithic buildings located directly to the north of this area: B. 109 B. 115 and B.110. At the same time, this layer is earlier than the Hellenistic pits that have been dug into it. The deposit was pretty heterogeneous with small fragments of broken bricks and other construction material. It is pretty compact and solid, indicating continous deposition.
Note on Total deposit volume:

Finds Room Information:
All material from site passes through the finds room for washing and separating before it is passed onto the various lab teams. The finds room keeps a basic inventory of what is found. A finds material type list is given here. Further analytical detail maybe provided by the Lab Team data below.
