Discussion: This cut is a part of feature 3959, a late period posthole (possibly hellenistic and associated with the hellenistic pits dug in trench 2. Is a part of a cluster of two other postholes. The cut extends into the western section and out of the trench. It also appears that the portion excavated was just the very bottom of the hole, as the base was reached quickly and in the section the cut appears to extend upward.
