Dimensions: approx. 1.00 x 0.90 m *problem with levels on plan 97-56 below 

Discussion: Plastery deposit removed in NW corner of S part of space 112 beyond edge of (2027). Thought possibly to overlie (2027) but in fact came down onto coherent plastered floor surface. This was followed down to the west where it dips and a greater depth of soil removed here including many remnant floor layers not preserved or recognised in rest of space.

Section shows how lower floor rises up against less coherent plastery deposit to south, which may reflect difference between platform and floors. Dry Sieve Information: Not dry sieved but may have hand picked finds

Consistency: firm or strong 

Colour: filling 10 YR 4/2-5/3 (dark greyish brown - brown), plaster 2.5 Y 7/3 (pale yellow) when moist, white when dry. 

Texture: clay loam 

Bedding: compound layered 

Inclusions: 25-50 % plaster aggregates (more in NW corner of unit), < 2 % charcoal fragments 

Post-depositional Features: moderate fine and occasional roots 

Basal Boundary: sharp and smooth above plaster surface, diffuse/uncertain elsewhere
