Discussion: Certain parts of the units were hard to separate from mortar, 20611, and the wall from the house 108. This is due to burning.
The mudbrick and the mortar was excavated at the same time and was not siewed.

The upper part was excavated first in consideration to the oven built in to the wall. Pick axe was used for excavation. A burnt post appeared in the eastern corner, near the east outer wall.

Measurement of bricks:: 0.82 x 0.30 x 0.09 

 

Consistency: strong 

Colour: light brown to dark brown, reddish and pink 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: compound layer 

Inclusions: phytolits 

Post-depositional Features: animal disturbance 

Basal Boundary: constructional, diffuse
