Interpretive Categories: Infill of cut 20648 (in contact with skeleton)

Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: burial

Discussion: Cf. 20651 & 20652. Same layers, arbitrary division of the infill of cut 20648.
U.20654 starts at the top of skeleton 20655 (top of the head and of the foot), and ends at its bottom which seems to be the bottom of this cut (and the begining of the infill of a previous cut, 30517).

Consistency: W : soft. E : firm

Colour: W : light brown. E : light grey + everywhere : red spot (painted plaster inclusion)

Texture: Clayey silt

Bedding: Massive / unoriented

Inclusions: Medium pieces of red painted plaster and white plaster (aggregates, 5 to 10%), small pieces of clay (5%], small pieces of natural stones (2%), small to medium pieces of mortar (2%)

Post-depositional Features: One main NE-SW crack (visible already on layer 20634 of platform 3695) + some marginal cracks (mostly radial from the main one) + animal burrows in the zone disturbed by the main crack (burrow disturbing face and thorax of skeleton 20655)

Basal Boundary: Partly arbitrary. Not completely obvious : change of infill, begining of the inill of cut 30517 (previous burial F.7120)
