Discussion: Mortar used to join bricks within the wall F.3627 varied in its thickness depending on desire of builders who tried to keep horizontal line of the particular courses. Additional distinctiveness was recorded in the consistency of the mortar that was more compact and difficult to excavate than in other walls restricting Sp.488/489. In the central-southern part of the structure a thick mortar layer was arranged instead a brick at least in two subsequent courses.

Colour: mid-grey, dark-grey, mid-brown in S part of the unit 

Texture: silty-sand, silty-clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: white inclusions, charcoal
