Discussion: The infill of this pit was distinguished from u.20800 by color and texture. Layer 20819 was of a lighter color and contained more plaster-mixed material finer than the infill of pit F.7006 or the surrounding platform. It is part of a complex series of cuts and fills in platform F.3508, the eastern platform of space 370. Layer u.20819 is truncated by a section at the southern end of the platform. 

 

Consistency: strong/compact 

Colour: light brown 

Texture: silt 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: charcoal <2%, plaster <2% 

Post-depositional Features: compaction 

Basal Boundary: sloping eastward and southward, soil darker in color and more compacted
