Discussion: Mortar of wall F 8003, around 5 cm thick. The quern fragment X1 imbedded in the wall was attributed to this unit however it was crossing several mortar and brick courses and could just as easily be attributed to U20891 (bricks of F 8003).
Consistency: firm but crumbly and cracked especially in the N part.
Colour: light yellow
Texture: slty clay
Bedding: massive
Inclusions: few small charcoal and mineral flecks
Post-depositional Features: animall burrows wheathering at the N part
Basal Boundary: sharp anthropogenic
