Discussion: This was a burnt layer localized to the SW form the hearth. It was laying directly below layer of infill F.7269. This unit was same as U. 21079. It contained inclusions of ash and charcoals. It was lying next to an orange layer. This unit and orange layer were lying under infill U.21068. 

Consistency: soft, friable 

Colour: black 

Texture: silt 

Bedding: layered 

Inclusions: lenses of ash and charcoal

Basal Boundary: visible by the end of ash and other colour of another layer
