Discussion: This is a cut of foundation trench in Building 129. It has been placed next to the recorded walls of this building (Northern wall – F. 7558, Western wall – F. 7559 and Southern wall – F. 7560). It has been easily distinguished in its Norhern and partially in Western part, while in Southern part it has been arbitrarily defined.

Update 7/7/2015: The remainder of this foundation cut was discovered during the excavation of walls f. 7558 and 7560 in the 2015 season. The foundation cut is extremely square, and the bricks for these walls were tucked very tightly on top of the walls of B. 131 below (f. 7705 and f. 7706). The foundation cut intentionally avoids destroying the plaster of the walls below, both in the north and the south, as about 8 cm of plaster was left, even though the infill and bricks on either side were removed during this foundation cut event.

Sides: in N & SW part vertical, in W and SE part irregular 

Base Break: in N part sharp, in W and S part gradual 

Base: flat and linear in shape 

Orientation: E-W, N-S, W-E
