Area: North

Interpretive Categories: infill layer

Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: heterogeneous

Discussion: This is an infill layer of side room (Sp. 504) of B. 131. It has been easily distinguished due to its consistency, colour, and texture. It is very thick (up to 50 cm) and badly burnt layer of room infill which contains rich finds and inclusions in form of highly fired animal bones, obsidian, clay balls, charcoals, baked and burnt pieces of clay. At the bottom of the layer many x finds have been recorded for example hand axe, obsidian blade, horn core and worked stones. In the NW part of the infill a big concentration of minerals (possible from cave) have been placed. Two botanist samples have been taken from the bottom most part of the layer. During the exploration of the infill a partition wall has been exposed with plaster from its eastern side. The basal boundary was clearly visible and smooth. It is probable that under the removed infill, dirty floor has been recorded as well as some feature outlines (bins?) are visible.
