Data Category Information: Location: building; Description: general

Discussion: Remaining portion of plaster floor f2176 along with 3-4 cm of make up material. Make up material was excavated until height of the layer matched that of the current floor's surrounding make up material.

Slight scortching on outer layers of the section's southern area, likely corresponding with the same fire scortching other areas of the building. Possible animal burrowing in northwest region of the layer.

Southern edge of the layer bordered by kerb f1582, now heavely eroded.

Note on samples:
Flotation samples S2 and S3 are really no different, but separated into two samples by mistake. 

Consistency: firm 

Colour: medium tan - brown make up ; tan white plaster 

Texture: sitly clay 

Bedding: layered, plaster and make up 

Inclusions: small and medium plaster nodules 20% ; small charcoal pieces 5% 

Post-depositional Features: minor roots disturbance, slight scortching on southern edge of layer 

Basal Boundary: arbitrary, excavation duscontinued when level of arbitrary layer's make up reached the same level and appearance of surrounding floor area
