Data Category Information: Location: building; Description: general; Material: mix (dark grey&white); Deposition: composite (floors/bedding/plaster/packing/occupation); Basal Spit: unpainted
Discussion: This layer consists of a thick make-up layer of coarse material 2-0,1 cm thick unevenly distributed with the thickest part to the W and the thinnest to the NE. On top of this is one or several (probably minimum two) layers of plaster. This unit covered a probable partition wall in the E part and abutted a wall to the N. This unit was probably constructed in order to cover and level out the uneven underlaying surface. It was excavated using trowel and mattock.
