Unit 21674
Category: Layer dug in 2015
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: mortar within constructional element
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: wall/blocking; Material: mortar; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: Mortar u21674 was used to join the bricks (u21673) within the constructional element (F.7858). The consistency, texture and colour of the joining-paste were utterly different than in surrounding mud-brick structure of B.132. Among others the latter circumstances allowed to imply that the evidenced construction (F.7858) is later and it must have been related with the constructional phase of the B.77. The thickness of the mortar varied depending on the course of bricks and it reached the depth between 4-7cm.
