Dimensions: 115 x 50 x 45mm

Description: 'inverted breast' built into wall

Discussion: This appears so far to be a moulded feature such as a 'breast' which is made of a bricky clay mix then covered in plaster & set into the wall. Further investigation will perhaps decide whether it was made for this wall, plaster first, or brought from elsewhere ready-made & inserted into the wall.

Since artefacts have been found in other mouldings perhaps this should be dry sieved through a 1 mm mesh. At present the entire unit has gone as a archive sample except for a small piece used for the soil identification.
